Lisa Maye O’Connor is a multi-faceted artist who offers a unique line of home accessories featuring healing crystals and living air plants, as well as, an eclectic portfolio of fine art photography, abstract painting and mixed media art.
Her abstract painting process is spontaneous, fearless and intuitive. Unlike artists who plan their paintings ahead of time, Lisa’s soulful approach allows for a free flowing state of authentic expression. Trusting her process, she is always surprised at what comes through on the canvas. Images emerge through the many layers of paint, heavy texture and mixed media additions. Viewers discover something new to appreciate every time they look at her paintings.
Lisa’s photographs reflect her unique perspective on life, as well as the artistic lens with which she sees the world. Inspired by nature, landscape, people, architecture and travel, she adds her creative vision to compose dynamic and intriguing photos.
Along with painting and photography, Lisa’s other creative endeavor includes designing and creating one-of-a-kind crystal home accessories through her company, the Crystal Ship.
Lisa was always mesmerized by the shimmer, shine and sparkle of an amethyst geode or a quartz cluster and over the years has accrued quite a collection of crystals, minerals and gems. Wanting to do something more than display them throughout her house, she began creating one-of-a-kind household accessories using her crystals and stones. After receiving many requests from her friends for her creations, Lisa decided to produce these items on a larger scale and sell them through her company, the Crystal Ship.

Today, she spends hours upon hours curating the perfect stones for her air plants + crystal gifts, automatic LED nightlights, wine bottle stoppers, magnets, as well as other ethereal “gems”.
